PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a scroll compressor without increasing oil storage amount by directly supplying lubricating oil to a ball part of a bearing. SOLUTION: The scroll compressor 1 is provided with a main bearing member 51 for holding the ball bearing 42 journaling a driving shaft 14 of a motor 5, and the lubricating oil 7 for lubrication of a sliding part including a compression mechanism part 4 is supplied to a back face space 24 of a turning scroll 12 through an oil passage 19 within the driving shaft 14. Since a communication hole 19a is provided on the oil passage 19 within the driving shaft 14 to branch and directly supply the lubricating oil 7 to the ball part 42a of the ball bearing 42, even if the amount of the lubricating oil 7 is small, the lubricating oil 7 can be efficiently supplied to the ball part 42a of the ball bearing 42, so as to improve the reliability of the scroll compressor 1.
