PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water tank system with a reduced installation number of emergency cutoff valves. SOLUTION: This water tank system has a water tank 18 forming two water storage chambers 14 and 16, a stand 20 supporting the water tank 18 from below, a communicating tube 26 mutually communicating the water storage chambers 14 and 16, and an intake pipe 32 connected to the center of the communicating tube 26. Opening-closing valves 28 and 30 are respectively arranged on the downstream side of the water storage chambers 14 and 16 in the communicating tube 26. The emergency cutoff valve 40 is arranged in the intake pipe 32. A stand extension part 22 extending to the emergency cutoff valve 40 side is installed on the stand 20.
