PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building capable of preventing the water supplied to an outer wall from leaking into a room inside the building when the outer wall is cooled by the vaporization of the water for saving energy during the cooling. SOLUTION: This building comprises the outer wall 3 allowed to cool by the vaporization of water. The outer wall 3 comprises a primary outer wall 4 disposed on the inside of the room and a secondary outer wall 5 disposed on the outside of the room oppositely to the primary outer wall 4. An air flow passage 6 is formed between the primary outer wall 4 and the secondary outer wall 5. The building further comprises a water supply means 9 for supplying water to the inner front surface of the secondary outer wall 5 brought into contact with the air flow passage 6, an air supply part 7 for introducing the outside air into the air flow passage 6, and an discharge part 8 for discharging the air in the air flow passage 6 to the outside.
