Provided are a fuel cartridge which is highly safe because a valve is not damaged or broken by erroneous mounting, a fuel cell, and an electronic apparatus. A housing (11) of the fuel cartridge (10) has a fitting groove (14) for fitting the housing (11) to a fuel cell body. The structure avoids application of excessive force to the valve (13) due to inappropriate mounting and makes the valve (13) less prone to damage or breakage. The valve (13) is mounted to the housing (11) without projecting therefrom. Although the overall height of the fuel cartridge (10) is the same as that of conventional cartridges having the valves projecting outward of the housings, the fuel cartridge of this invention has a greater effective volume of a fuel storage space (12).
