The connecting rod bearing exhibits a processed cylindrical bearing surface and a lateral processing surface. The lateral processing surface of the connecting rod bearing has a three-dimensionally designed processing geometry in a partial area. A form of three-dimensional designed processing geometry exhibits a cylindrical drop.
