<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter having projections for liquid crystal alignment control with high quality hardly generating burning or the like when being used at uniform height. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter includes a colored layer formed on a transparent substrate, a transparent electrode layer formed on the colored layer, and the projections for the liquid crystal alignment control formed on a region corresponding to the colored layer on the transparent electrode layer. The projections for the liquid crystal alignment control has a six-member ring structure composed of one or two kinds of atoms. The inside of the six-member ring structure includes three unsaturated couplings. At least one or more of atoms adjacent to the six-member ring structure contains a polymer having a unit being oxygen atoms or nitrogen atoms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
