METHOD FOR COLLECTING FETUS-ORIGINATED CELL, METHOD FOR CREATING CLONED COW, AND METHOD FOR DETECTING SEED BULL CANDIDATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting fetus-originated cells, by which the fetus-originated cells can be collected from an amniotic fluid in high accuracy by a transvaginal method to efficiently create cloned cow used for the clonal test of a seed bull, and the like.

SOLUTION: In the method for collecting the fetus-originated cells, comprising collecting the fetus-originated cells floated in the amniotic fluid of a pregnancy cow, the amniotic fluid collected just after the start of collection is cast away. The fetus-originated cells obtained by the collection method are used as donor cells for nucleus transplantation to create a cloned cow, and the meat productivity of the cloned cow is investigated to detect the meat productivity of the seed bull candidate.
