<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor preventing deterioration of detection accuracy when mounted on a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A core 7 is disposed surrounding around an axis of the flow direction of a busbar 2 current. A gap 20 is disposed on the core 7. The core 7 is composed of a bottom wall part 18 and a pair of standing walls 19 erected from the both edge of the bottom wall part 18 around the axis forming a cross section "U" shape. By so doing, the core 7 is configured so that the width of the busbar 2 is larger than the width of the gap 20. A hall IC 3 detects the magnetic flux density of the magnetic field generated when current flows through the busbar 2 and converts to an electric signal. Furthermore, the core 7 is disposed so that the gap 20 is set at the far side of the hood 22 that is the neighboring auto body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
