PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigator capable of selecting routes in consideration of crime-prevention. SOLUTION: The navigator includes a memory means (HDD14) for storing information related to routes which are previously passed; an searching means (CPU11) for searching a route to the destination, by taking the routes previously passed stored in the memory means into account, to keep down the routes which are passed previously, at frequencies above a predetermined level, and a presenting means (LCD18) presenting the routes obtained from the search means.
