PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a tongue piece from slipping off from an insertion hole, and also, to facilitate assembly, in a packaging box having one opening section of the square cylindrical body section closed by bending each internal flap inward at a right angle, and bending each external flap inward at a right angle in a manner to overlap on the external surface of the internal flap. SOLUTION: On the distal end section of the external flap 32, a pair of tongue pieces 34 having an extended section 34a which protrudes forward, and extends in the lateral direction are installed. On the internal flap 31, the insertion hole 31a in which the tongue piece 34 is inserted is formed. On the insertion hole 31a, a protruding section 37 which protrudes from the side edge on the outside in the lateral direction of the internal flap 31 to the inside in the lateral direction of the internal flap 31 is formed at a position corresponding to the extended section 34a when the tongue piece 34 is inserted. When the internal flap is bent inward, and each tongue piece 34 is inserted in the corresponding insertion hole 31a, the extended section 34a is engaged with the distal end edge of the protruding section 37.
