PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle capable of decreasing an installation space in the height direction in a constitution that a quadric link mechanism for turning and moving a seat body in the horizontal direction with respect to a floor surface and a slider mechanism are arranged in a hierarchical manner. SOLUTION: A pair of transverse slider mechanisms 20, 30 and a quadric link mechanism 10 are arranged between a seat body 1 and a floor surface F in a hierarchical manner. The quadric link mechanism 10 turns link arms 13, 14, and moves a skeleton body 2 (a support link) with respect to link bases 11, 12 fixed on an upper rail 31 to turn the seat body 1. The link arms 13, 14 have front plates 13B, 14B connected to the skeleton body 2 and rear plates 13A, 14A connected to the link bases 11, 12. The rear plates 13A, 14A are formed at a position lower than the front plates 13B, 14B, and link-connected to lower surface sides of parts projecting from the top of the upper rail 31 of the link bases 11, 12.
