PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin tank structure for fuel hardly impairing the reduction of fuel swing noise, having a large degree of flexibility in the shape of a buffer member, requiring no welding in installing the buffer member, capable of being attached to only a swing noise generating source and suppressing the fuel swing noise to necessity minimum, in which the buffer member has a small volume, and the reduction of a tank capacity is small. SOLUTION: The resin tank structure 11 for fuel includes a resin tank body 12 in which in-tank functional components 15 to manage the fuel are installed, where the buffer member 16 formed of a foaming material is installed which is shaped as able to be attached to the in-tank functional member 15. The buffer member 16 is formed by tying pieces 47 of foaming materials. The functional components 15 are a resin pipe member 44 to put the main chamber 34 on one side of the resin tank body 12 in communication with an auxiliary chamber 35 on the other side, a fuel supply pump 42, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
