PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injector capable of preventing engine oil deterioration, engine performance decline and fuel consumption deterioration by reliably guiding a post injection fuel to a specific injection hole and restraining wasteful injection that dilutes the engine oil. SOLUTION: The injector includes a needle body 31 having a needle 15 driven by a driving means 20 so as to be made closer to or apart from injection holes 11a, 11b, and a valve piece 32 to be seated on a nozzle body 11 so as to close a fuel path 12 in the vicinity of the injection holes by the force from the body 31 at the time the needle body 31 approach the injection holes 11a, 11b, or to be switched to follow the needle body 31 for leaving the seated state or to be detached from the needle body 31 for maintaining the seated state at the time the needle body 31 is separated from the injection holes 11a, 11b. The valve piece 32 has a communication hole 33 for having a specific injection hole 11a out of a plurality thereof communicate with the fuel path 12 at the time of separating the valve piece 32 from the needle body 31 for maintaining the seated state.
