摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifilament having few fluffs, which is produced by using a recycled raw material and capable of producing a plain weave fabric having a light weight and a low air permeability and applicable to winter clothes, sports garments, and products for materials. SOLUTION: The polyester multifilament satisfies the following conditions A to E: (A) The filament is formed of a polyester produced by using recycled dimethyl terephthalate obtained by the depolymerization of a polyalkylene terephthalate as an ester-forming derivative of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, wherein the dimethyl terephthalate accounts for 80 mol% or more of the esterifying derivative of wholly aromatic dicarboxylic acid; (B) the intrinsic viscosity of the polyester is 0.60-1.00 dL/g; (C) the fineness of the multifilament is 10-24 dtex and the fineness of the single dilament is 0.10-0.70 dtex; (D) the maximum strength of the raw yarn is 4.0-6.0 cN/dtex and the maximum elongation is 20-40%; and (E) the fluff level of the collected raw yarn is 0.5 fluffs/1,000,000 m.
