PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical reaction device capable of automatically executing a multistep reaction treatment to a small amount of a detecting objective substance. SOLUTION: The chemical reaction device comprises a microreaction channel chip 1, a turntable 17 mounting the microreaction channel chip 1 to rotate, and a magnetic force generation part arranged on a rotating center side from a channel forming area of the microreaction channel chip 1. The microreaction channel chip 1 has a plurality of reaction tanks having an entrance and an exit narrow toward the end, and a micro channel connecting a plurality of reaction tanks. Each of the plural reaction tanks is sequentially arranged from the upstream side to the downstream side such that the exits narrow toward the end face mutually alternately in a reversed state, and the entrance and the exit tapered to narrow toward the end of the adjacent reaction tanks are connected at the micro channel, and further, microbeads 5 which can be magnetized are arranged in the microreaction channel 1.
