PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform upgrade, even if the upgrade is frequently performed, with release of only one kind of update files and only one operation confirmation operation to the one kind of update file by allowing effective use of a memory storage area of a memory storing a software program. SOLUTION: In update processing of software program, a downgrade file and an update file are stored in an NAND memory 11 together with a software program of the old version number. The software program of the old version number is once downgrade processed to a software program of the initial version number using the downgrade file, and the downgraded software program is updated to the software program of the latest version number using the update file.
