A display panel with built-in optical sensors in which the noise component of the imaging signals of image capturing sensors in a display area can be eliminated with high accuracy without being affected by the distance from a heat source and the distance from the output terminals of the sensors. The display panel with built-in optical sensor has an active matrix substrate having a pixel area in which pixels are arranged in a matrix and a plurality of optical sensors are arranged in at least a part of the pixel area. The optical sensors in the pixel area include image capturing sensors (12S) and light-shielded sensors (12B). The display panel with built-in optical sensors includes a correction circuit (4) which corrects the outputs form the image capturing sensors (12S) by using the outputs of the light-shielded sensors (12B).
