<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power distribution system capable of linking loads without utilizing another system, and to provide a circuit breaker. <P>SOLUTION: For example, if an emergency signal (fire alarm signal) is transmitted from a fire alarm, an emergency signal receiving section 6a in a branched switch BR1 connected to the fire alarm receives the emergency signal, and a control section 6c causes a signal superimposing section 6b to transmit a communication signal in response to the reception of the emergency signal. In a branched switch BR2, a communication signal receiving section 7a receives the communication signal transmitted from the branched switch BR1, and a control section 7b controls a detaching section 5 in response to the communication signal to open a main contact point 3.
