<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a photoelectric conversion element capable of securing durability and improving initial characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: When manufacturing the dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element having a working electrode 10, an opposite electrode 20, and an electrolyte containing body 30, first of all, the working electrode 10 for holding a dye 14 and the opposite electrode 20 are manufactured on a metal oxide semiconductor layer 12 with a porous structure. then, the working electrode 10 and the opposite electrode 20 are pasted so as to have a designated gap. After impregnating a low-viscosity liquid into a porous structure by pouring the low-viscosity liquid between the working electrode 10 and the opposite electrode 20, the electrolyte containing body 30 is formed so that a high-viscosity material is poured and an electrolyte is adjusted.
