PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material cutting device capable of obtaining a rotary blade in which blade tips of the rotary blade and a fixed blade are smoothly and consistently brought into contact with each other by an inexpensive forming means, and preventing any trouble such as impact noise, the wear of the blade tips and the chipping of the blade tips during the cutting operation. SOLUTION: In the sheet material cutting device, a rotary blade having a curved blade tip and a fixed blade having a straight blade tip are pressed against each other with the biting angle. The rotary blade comprises a shank part formed in a long shape, a blade part having the curved blade tip formed in the longitudinal direction of the shank part, a guide part formed on the cut starting side to guide the fixed blade to the blade part, and an induction unit which is formed on the cut ending side to induce the fixed blade to the guide part after the fixed blade is released from the blade part.
