PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel quinoxaline derivative, to provide a light-emitting element requiring a low driving voltage, to provide a light-emitting element requiring low electric power consumption, and to provide a light-emitting device and electronic equipment each requiring low electric power consumption by using these light-emitting elements. SOLUTION: The quinoxaline derivative has a structure where at least one of carbon atoms in the 2-position and the 3-position of quinoxaline is bonded to a carbon atom of a pyridine ring via an arylene group.
