PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound covering material less skin stimulative, excellent in wettability and compatibility to a skin, having sufficient adhesiveness and high wound healing promoting effect, as compared to a conventional wound covering material. SOLUTION: In the wound covering material constituted by forming a layer comprising adhesive on a skin contacting face, the wound covering material less skin stimulative, excellent in wettability and compatibility to a skin, having sufficient adhesiveness and high wound healing promoting effect, as compared to the wound covering material up to now can be obtained by being characterized by that the adhesive comprises polyether based polymer containing siloxane bonds.
