PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus, etc., capable of recording a telephone number in a redial buffer even when a telephone call is connected to a communication partner of the other telephone number. SOLUTION: An originating side telephone 10 includes a calling unit 12 for originating a call to a telephone number for connecting to the communication partner via a public telephone line, a communication unit 14 for performing communication to the communication partner through line connection, and a storing unit 30 for recording the telephone number. It also comprises a speech recognition unit 20 for detecting the telephone number of the communication partner, an automatic connection recognition unit 18 for detecting a relay connection for connecting to the communication partner via a service center 50 of a telephone number guide service for providing a telephone number in response to an inquiry from a user, and a telephone number recording unit 22 for recording the telephone number of the communication partner detected by the speech recognition unit 20 in the storing unit 30 when the relay connection is detected.
