PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money processor capable of enhancing the precision of a judging part for judging a denomination, genuineness, damage and the like of paper money. SOLUTION: This paper money processor is provided with a conveying means for conveying individually the paper currencies received into a reception part, a judging means provided in the midway of the conveying means and for judging the paper money, and the first tension roller 40 constituting one part of the conveying means and for feeding the paper money from the judging means, the first tension roller 40 is provided with a driving roller 50 and a driven roller 51, the driving roller 50 is provided with a driving shaft 42 and a plurality of roller parts 43 provided in the periphery of the driving shaft 42, and the driven roller 51 is provided with rotary shafts 44a, 44b arranged longitudinally, a roller part 46 provided in the periphery of the rotary shaft 44a, 44b and opposed to the roller parts 43 of the driving roller 50, and a coil spring 45 for energizing the rotary shaft 44a, 44b individually to a driving roller 50 side.
