PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly restore data at a secondary site when batch processing is interrupted due to the failure of a primary site during a non-periodical copy action to synchronize the data of a primary site and a secondary site. SOLUTION: When a storage medium 17 of a primary site 10 is updated, it is non-periodically copied to a storage area 37a of a storage medium 37 of a secondary site. The snapshot of data prior to the start of batch processing at the primary site 10 is performed to a storage area 37b, and a meta data file 60 is output by a DBMS13. Then, when any failure is occurred in the primary site 10 during batch processing, a meta data file 60 is fetched by a DMBS33, and batch processing is re-executed from the leading by using the storage area 37b.
