PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a civil engineering apparatus of such a structure that a lock bolt can be easily inserted into a bolt hole even at a tunneling site with a small cross section. SOLUTION: This civil engineering apparatus 300 includes a drilling rod which is removed from a drifter unit 320 when drilling is completed. The lock bolt RB is slidably supported on a bolt supporting mechanism 340 at the position parallel to the drilling rod. The slidably supported lock bolt RB is connected to the retreating drifter unit 320 through a rod holder 350. When the drifter unit 320 is advanced in the longitudinal direction of a guide shell 310, the lock bolt RB is inserted into the bolt hole drilled in the drilling rod. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
