PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety and prevent the occurrence of a scratch when folded pallets for cargo work are stack in a parallel-cross form. SOLUTION: This pallet for the cargo work includes a load bearing platform 1 in a planar shape, and a surrounding panel 2 which can be folded in such a manner as to be stacked on the load bearing platform 1. The load bearing platform 1 is constituted by a frame structure 12 and a mesh structure 13 which is laid on the frame structure 12. The frame structure 12 is equipped with two short side directional frame materials 14a and 14b which are located along the short side of the load bearing platform 1, and long side directional frame materials 15a and 15b for connecting both longitudinal ends of both the short side directional frame materials 14a and 14b together. Leg bodies 17 are mounted on below both the longitudinal ends of both the short side directional frame materials 14a and 14b, respectively. A square pipe material is used for the long side directional frame materials 15a and 15b. A recessed groove portion 23, which has such a cross-sectional shape as to be depressed more deeply toward the central side in its width direction, is formed along the length direction of the frame material in the bottom plate portion 22 of the square pipe material.
