PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printing device having an effect of preventing a stain of each part of the device or an object, a waste of a paste, a deterioration in the device productivity or the like by adding the function of detecting a fracture of a screen plate. SOLUTION: The printing is performed by coating a screen plate 1 superposed on an object 3 with a paste and squeezing the paste onto the object 3 through the screen plate 1. An output signal from a distortion sensor 8 which has detected a distortion of the screen plate 1 in the printing is processed by a signal processing system 9. When the signal processing system 9 judges that the screen plate 1 has been broken or is going to be broken, a control means 7 stops the operation of the device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
