<p>Disclosed is a ceramic filter and ceramic filter manufacturing method that can increase the rate of flow inside pass-through cells, minimize the quantity of soot (particulate quantity) accumulated, suppress abnormal increases in the internal temperature during regeneration, and additionally realize improved regeneration limits and compatibility with PM emissions. The ceramic filter includes a multiplicity of honeycomb segments (2) that are joined to one another, wherein a multiplicity of circulation holes (7) is formed in honeycomb segments (2), and cells are constituted by entrances and/or exits of the multiplicity of circulation holes (7). Each honeycomb segment (2) includes a first influx hole (8) and a second influx hole (9), and furthermore, at least some of them include a pass-through cell (10), wherein the entrance and exit of said cell are not sealed, and a passage is formed through which a fluid can flow from the entrance to the exit of the cell.</p> |
