<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat dissipation device of an optical transceiver that improves heat transfer resistance between a housing and a heat sink of the optical transceiver by using a heat-conductive sheet while maintaining convenience which is pluggability of the optical transceiver. <P>SOLUTION: A soft heat-conductive sheet 18 is stuck on one of contact surfaces of the heat sink 15 and transceiver housing 14 disposed above a cage 12 installed on a host substrate 11. The heat sink 15 is supported on the cage 12 downward elastically and movably within a prescribed range, and a cam projection 19 which is spaced apart from the contact surface 15a of the heat sink 15 within a prescribed range is provided to the transceiver housing 14 on the side of the contact surface 14a. The transceiver housing 14 is inserted without being rubbed against a contact surface of the heat-conductive sheet 18, so that the contact surfaces of the heat sink 15 and transceiver housing 14 are pressed against each other across the heat-conductive sheet 18 at a final insertion position of the transceiver housing 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
