PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that conventional fuel cell systems have implemented a method of mounting water level sensors doubly to deal with water level fault in a water tank, which may complicate apparatus configuration, resulting in increase in the component count and cost.
SOLUTION: The fuel cell system has a fuel cell 1, a water tank 11 to store water for cooling the fuel cell 1, and a controller 2. The controller 2 issues a fault signal when a water level detected by a first water level sensor 12 is greater than a first water level even when the accumulated discharging water amount is not less than a first threshold after stop of water supply by means of a water supply pump 14 for supplying water to the water tank 11, when a water level detected by the first water level sensor 12 is less than a second water level even when the accumulated discharging water amount is not less than a second threshold after start of water supply by means of the water supply pump 14, and when the accumulated discharging water amount after stop of water supply by means of the water supply pump 14 is less than a third threshold and a water level detected by the first water level sensor 12 is not more than a third water level.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
