PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting apparatus which can prevent occurrence of poor ejection caused by large bubbles included in a liquid. SOLUTION: The liquid jetting apparatus 1 is equipped with both a recording head 4 which has a jet opening formation face 17 where a plurality of jet openings 16 to jet the liquid L are formed, and a meniscus forming device 8 which forms a meniscus of the liquid. The meniscus forming device 8 forms the meniscus by repeating the action of pressing out the liquid L to the jet opening formation face 17 side while prohibiting the liquid from being jetted from the jet opening 16, and the action of drawing the liquid L into the jet opening 16.
