PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt with flexibility capable of restraining dishing even if the belt is used for transmitting a high load, thereby preventing problems such as exfoliation between upper and lower faces of the belt or the projection of a core wire at a portion where the core wire is embedded. SOLUTION: In this cogged V-belt 1, the rubber hardness (JIS-A) of an extensible rubber layer 5 is within a range of 85-92, and the rubber hardness (JIS-A) of a compressed rubber layer 2 is within a range of 90-98. The rubber hardness of the compressed rubber layer 2 is set higher than that of the extensible rubber layer 5 by 3-10 (JIS-A) or lower. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
