<p>A method of metal regeneration characterized by comprising: a melting-furnace cleaning step in which pure aluminum having an aluminum content of 99.5 wt.% or higher is melted in a melting furnace to clean the inside of the melting furnace; and a metal regeneration step in which a waste lithographic printing plate selected among unused lithographic printing plates and spent lithographic printing plates is melted in the melting furnace whose inside has been cleaned in the melting-furnace cleaning step to thereby obtain a regenerated metal. Also provided are: a regenerated metal obtained by the metal regeneration method; a material for use as a lithographic printing plate base, the material comprising the regenerated metal; and a lithographic printing plate.</p> |
