<p>A soft-faced clamp for securing frameless photovoltaic modules and laminates to each other and to a surface is provided herein. The clamp may be a mid-clamp securing two photovoltaic modules or an end-clamp securing a single photovoltaic module. The clamps include a top part, a bound elastomer for contacting the frameless module, and a base with extruded steps forming a ledge for securing the top part and elastomer and preventing excessive force from being applied to the photovoltaic module.</p> |
