<p>A navigation system has a map database (5) which holds map data, a position/direction measurement section (4) which measures a present position and a direction, a path computing section (12) which computes a guiding path from the present position measured by the position/direction measurement section to a destination on the basis of the map data read from the map database, a camera (7) which photographs the front, a video acquisition section (8) which acquires the video of the front video captured by the camera (7), a bypass acquisition section (16) which acquires a bypass connected to a position between the present position and the guiding point of the guiding path computed by the path computing section, a video synthesis processing section (14) which superimposes and synthesizes a figure expressing the bypass acquired by the bypass acquisition section onto the video acquired by the video acquisition section, and a display section (10) which displays the video synthesized by the video synthesis processing section.</p> |
