<p>An operation for locking a touch panel or an operation for releasing the lock is facilitated. A mobile terminal comprises: a first chassis; a second chassis slidably linked with the first chassis; a touch panel provided on the first chassis; a shape detection unit for detecting, based on the relative position between the first chassis and the second chassis, which one of a plurality of shapes occurs (S01, S08, S09); a signal receiving unit for receiving a signal outputted from the touch panel (S04); and a mode switching unit for switching, based on the detected shape and the presence or absence of the signal outputted from the touch panel, an input mode to either a lock mode or a lock releasing mode (S05, S06).</p> |
