<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the power efficiency of overall system while using raw material gas highly efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: Among all the cells composing a fuel cell 110, each of a second sub-stack 112 and a third sub-stack 113 has the same number of cells of 25% or less. A fuel gas outlet of a first sub-stack 111 is connected to each of fuel gas inlets of the second and third sub-stack 112, 113 via three-way valves 102, 103, and a fuel gas outlet of the second sub-stack 112 is connected to a fuel gas inlet of the third sub-stack 113 via the valve 103, while a fuel gas outlet of the third sub-stack 113 is connected to a fuel gas inlet of the second sub-stack 112 via the valve 102. The valves 102, 103 are switched by a controller 140 in accordance with operation time so that either one of the second and third sub-stack 112, 113 may be located at the most downstream side in the flow direction of hydrogen gas 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
