<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge having a small number of components, then, achieving miniaturization, and also, having good assembling workability, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The process cartridge includes: a conveying coil spring 71 that makes a rotation to convey toner removed by a cleaning blade 70 in the prescribed direction of the toner; a rotary supporting member 74 with a gear 79 that supports the conveying coil spring 71 at a prescribed position such that the conveying coil spring 71 can be freely rotated, and receives a driving force from the outside.
