<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst device which upgrades activity efficiency of a photocatalyst as a whole and be properly manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: This photocatalyst device 200a comprises a plurality of photocatalytic units 100a, 100b, 100c and 100d which are arranged in a row in a direction almost crossing a first surface S1 and a second surface S2. In addition, the photocatalytic units 100a, 100b, 100c and 100d are each equipped with base members 40a, 40b, 40c and 40d which have a first surface S1 and a second surface S2 facing each other and a third surface S3 which forms a solid by almost crossing the first surface S1 and the second surface S2 and also, a plurality of projections 44a, 44b, 44c and 44d which are arranged on at least, one surface of the first surface S1 and the second surface S2, with the third surface S3 receiving an incident light. Further, the photocatalytic units 100a, 100b, 100c and 100d are each equipped with photocatalytic layers 42a, 42b, 42c and 42d which are arranged on at least, the first surface S1 side and are exposed to the light coming into the third surface S3 after being diffracted by the projections 44a, 44b, 44c and 44d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
