POWER SUPPLY FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of a power supply for electric vehicle for supplying power to a lighting or an air conditioner of an electric vehicle.

SOLUTION: The power supply for electric vehicle 1 is provided with: first to third inverter phases 4a to 4c for converting DC into three-phase AC; a control part 15 for generating a gate signal for the three-phase inverter to the first to third inverter phases 4a to 4c; a transformer 6 for converting the three-phase output voltage of the first to third inverter phases 4a to 4c into the voltage of an arbitrary value and supplying load in the electric vehicle with power; a waiting phase inverter 4d for converting the DC into a single-phase AC; a fault detection means 38 for detecting fault in the phase unit of the first to third inverter phases 4a to 4c; and a switching means for switching the inverter phase whose fault is detected by the fault detection means 38 to the waiting phase inverter to continue operation.
