<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction of power consumption in an RF amplifier monitoring apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The RF amplifier monitoring apparatus obtains predetermined information from a reception signal sent from an RF amplifier 12 and when the information is the same as information in the fault state of the RF amplifier 12, the RF amplifier monitoring apparatus sends a pilot signal from an oscillator 27 to the RF amplifier 12 and confirms the operational state of the RF amplifier 12. Furthermore, when the information obtained from the reception signal sent from the RF amplifier 12 is the same as information in normally operating state of the RF amplifier 12, the RF amplifier monitoring apparatus stops sending the pilot signal from the oscillator 27 to the RF amplifier 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
