PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a regenerative resistor in a space except a floor surface in an engine room in a vessel to effectively utilize a floor area, and to install a plurality of regenerative resistors without causing an increase of the floor area even if the resistors are individually stored in a cubicle. SOLUTION: Converting devices 4 and 5 convert AC power supplied from a base wire in the vessel into DC power by converters, and the DC power is converted into AC power to drive an AC electric motor. The regenerative resistors 6 and 7 connected to DC lines of the converting devices 4 and 5 and consuming regeneration power generated when the AC electric motor is regenerated have constitutions to store regenerative resistance in the cubicle, and are installed in an inside space of an inclined side surface 8a of a hull 8 to effectively utilize the space in the vessel.
