PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn on/off power supply at a predetermined time without operation of a user, and suppress inconvenience accompanying automatic power on/off. SOLUTION: A portable terminal device is provided with: a power supply control unit 190 which carries out power supply control for turning on/off a portable telephone set 100; a clock count unit 150 which measures a present time; a button input unit 110 which receives a power supply control time input by an operator, which is the starting time for power supply control; a memory unit 180 which memorizes the input power supply control time; and a control unit 120 which receives a notification of time information from the clock count unit 150, confirms the memorized power supply control time, and determines whether the time information is the power supply control time or not. The terminal device is also characterized in that the control unit 120 carries out power supply control through the use of the power supply control unit 190 when it is determined that the time information is the power supply control time, and also calls attention when the operator should input the power supply control time.
