PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film of a 2-norbornene addition polymer having high mechanical strength, excellent heat resistance and transparency, and a low water absorption rate. SOLUTION: This 2-norbornene addition polymer film is the film of the 2-norbornene addition polymer of 250,000-850,000 weight average molecular weight (Mw). In the 2-norbornene addition polymer film, cyclohexane insolubles of the 2-norbornene addition polymer when dissolving the 2-norbornene addition polymer in cyclohexane in a weight ratio of 100 times under a condition of 25°C temperature are≤1 wt.%.
