PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for an adhesive tape capable of sufficiently suppressing the separation of a base of the adhesive tape from an adhesive layer during a winding process or a feed-out process of the adhesive tape. SOLUTION: The adhesive tape 5 comprising the tape-like base 6 and the adhesive layer 8 formed on one-side surface of the base is winded around the reel 1 for the adhesive tape, and the base 6 is detached from the adhesive layer 8 when used. The reel equipped with a cylindrical winding core 3 for winding the adhesive tape 5 and a pair of side plates 2 provided on both ends in the axial direction of the winding core 3 so as to face each other has an elevated part 21 formed continuously or intermittently from peripheral edges 2b of inner surfaces 2a of the side plates 2 toward the direction of the center and having a surface roughness Ra of not more than 3.0μm.
