PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube clamp in a flat tube filling machine which is capable of reliably holding a flat tube having a flexible film shape and bent in various directions so that a non-seal end thereof is easily opened in a next step. SOLUTION: A first holding rod 65 and a second holding rod 67 are turnably fitted to a spindle 61 on a supporting stand 63. Side edge holding means 69, 71 of a flat tube 31 are provided at one ends opposite to each other of the first and second holding rods. Rollers 85, 87 are rotatably raised at other ends opposite to each other of the first and second holding rods. Springs 93 are fitted to the first and second holding rods. The springs apply the forces to the first and second holding rods in the direction in which the side edge holding means are brought close to each other. A working rod 95 is arranged in the vicinity of the roller of the first holding rod and the roller of the second holding rod in an advancing/retracting manner.
