<p>This object aims to provide a monocular type image forming device in which an image display unit is held at a position where image light is properly incident on an eye of a user without adding a spindle and that can be lighter in weight than a conventional HMD. A step in a height direction is provided at a temple on the mounting side of an image display unit. If the step is not provided, a front portion would be inclined by the weight of the image display unit so that image light incident on an eye of a user would become in such a condition that the image light moves to a lower position than the proper incident position. Since the image display unit moves in the upper direction when the step is provided at the temple on the mounting side of the image display, the image light is incident on the proper incident position of the eye of the user. Because of the simple structure in which the step is provided at the temple portion, the increase of weight can be suppressed in comparison with the addition of a spindle.</p> |
