The invention relates to medicine and can be used for treating human beings by a magnetotherapeutic method using alternating low-frequency magnetic fields which are generated by means of mechanical movement. The aim of the invention according to the first variant thereof is to regulate the frequency of a magnetic field intensity and the massage of the surface of a problem body area. The aim of the invention according to the second variant thereof is to control the frequency and amplitude of a magnetic field intensity for massaging the surface of a problem body area. The inventive therapeutic device comprises a body (1), a driving electric motor (2), the terminals of the armature coil of which are connectable to a voltage source, and magnets (3, 4) which are combined into at least one pair and are placed on a common ferromagnetic base (5). An eccentric weight (6) is mounted on the shaft of the driving electric motor (2), wherein the electric motor is arranged inside the above-mentioned body (1), the magnets (3, 4) are disposed on the outer surface thereof and the axis of rotation of the electric motor (2) and the axial magnetization line of the pairs of the magnets (3, 4) are coaxially positioned. The armature coil terminals of the electric motor (2) are connected to a voltage regulator (7). Furthermore, the center of gravity of the eccentric weight (6) is situated on the axial magnetization line of the pairs of the magnets (3, 4) and the axis of rotation of the electric motor (2) is perpendicular to the axial magnetization line of the pairs of the magnets (3, 4).
