Disclosed is a method for producing a cosmetic preparation by pressing a powder composition, wherein a powder composition is pressed, while being applied with vibrations having a frequency of 10-40 kHz and an amplitude of 10-100 µm. The powder composition contains (A) a powder having an average particle diameter of 0.1-300 µm, (B) an oil agent which is in a liquid state at 25°C, and (C) an oil agent which is in a solid state at 25°C. In the powder composition, the content of the component (A) is 75-95% by weight and the mass ratio between the component (B) and the component (C), namely (B):(C), is within the range from 6:4 to 9.5:0.5.
